The Public Produce Garden is an ongoing project supported by the Cranbrook Food Action Committee.
The Garden is located on 18th Ave N, between 6th and 8th street (behind Hot Shots), and is always open.
We hope you come visit!
About the Garden
The Public Produce Garden is a community managed, free, public space that aims to increase food security and local food education.
The Public Produce Garden was created in 2012 through a partnership with City of Cranbrook and funding from the Union of BC Municipalities, Columbia Basin Trust, and Cranbrook Rotary Club.
We welcome everyone in the community to come and take part in the life of a local food garden.
From seeding to weeding to harvesting, all tasks are considered equal in this communally-managed space.
